Faceflux (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a product of Alter AI Studios. Faceflux is an AI-powered face-swap tool available as a Chrome extension at faceflux.ai. By using Faceflux, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
You must be at least 17 years old to use Faceflux. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 17 and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where we have reason to believe the user does not meet this age requirement.
To use Faceflux, you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@faceflux.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts we believe are compromised.
Faceflux uses a token-based system. Tokens are purchased credits used to generate AI face-swap images. All purchases are processed securely through Stripe.

You are solely responsible for the characters you create. By creating a character on Faceflux, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the person depicted in all uploaded photos; OR (b) you have obtained explicit written consent from every person depicted in the uploaded photos to use their likeness for AI-generated content. You assume ALL legal responsibility for the character you create and all content you generate using that character.
Celebrities & Public Figures: You may NOT create characters depicting celebrities, public figures, politicians, athletes, entertainers, or any identifiable third party without their explicit written consent. Faceflux is not responsible for any legal claims, including right of publicity claims, defamation claims, or other claims, arising from users creating unauthorized characters of third parties. Any and all legal liability for generating content depicting identifiable third parties rests solely with the user who created that character.

We reserve the right to review content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion, without refund of remaining tokens.
Faceflux uses artificial intelligence to generate face-swapped images. AI outputs are inherently imperfect and may contain unexpected results, artifacts, or inaccuracies. We make no guarantees about the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any generated content. You use generated content entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for how you use, share, or distribute it.
Generation quality: Faceflux utilizes top-of-the-line AI content generation systems. However, AI-generated results vary by nature. Factors including source image quality, lighting, pose, and model limitations may affect output quality. We do not guarantee that any generation will meet your specific expectations. No refunds will be issued based on subjective dissatisfaction with generation quality — tokens are consumed upon generation regardless of the output.
Tattoo & body features: By enabling tattoo transfer in your character settings, you acknowledge and agree that tattoo reproduction is approximate and AI-interpreted. Tattoos, body markings, and distinguishing features may appear differently in generated images — including variations in placement, size, detail, and visibility. This is an inherent limitation of AI generation technology, not a defect in our service. Alter AI Studios is not liable for any perceived inaccuracies in tattoo or body feature reproduction, and no refunds will be issued on this basis.
Third-party AI systems: Faceflux relies on third-party AI infrastructure to generate content. If these underlying systems experience downtime, quality fluctuations, or limitations, Alter AI Studios is not responsible for those failures. We provide the platform and interface — the AI generation itself is performed by external services beyond our direct control.
You must obtain consent from any identifiable third party before using images of them in AI generation. Faceflux is designed for personal creative use — using it to harm, embarrass, or defame others is a violation of these terms.
Your content: You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the images you generate. By using Faceflux, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content as necessary to provide the service. We do not claim ownership over your uploaded photos or generated images.
Our service: The Faceflux name, branding, software, and technology are owned by Alter AI Studios. You may not copy, modify, sublicense, or redistribute any part of our software or service without our written permission.
Third-party content: When you use Faceflux on images from third-party websites (e.g., Pinterest, Instagram), you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use those images. We are not liable for any copyright or intellectual property violations arising from your use of third-party content.
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content generated through our service infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy for instructions on submitting a takedown notice. We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly.
Platform Safe Harbor: Faceflux operates as a platform and tool. We do not review or approve user-generated content before it is created. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and the DMCA safe harbor provisions (17 U.S.C. § 512), Alter AI Studios is not liable for content created by users of our platform. We respond promptly to valid takedown requests submitted in accordance with our DMCA Policy. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the identified content and, where appropriate, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@faceflux.ai. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior toward our team or other users, or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your unused tokens are forfeited and your uploaded content may be deleted from our systems.
Faceflux is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated results will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alter AI Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Faceflux shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alter AI Studios, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the service; (c) content you create, upload, generate, share, or distribute through the service; or (d) any claims brought by third parties — including but not limited to celebrities, public figures, movie studios, record labels, sports organizations, or private individuals — arising from your unauthorized use of their likeness, name, image, right of publicity, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
This indemnification obligation includes any legal claims alleging defamation, harassment, right of publicity violations, copyright infringement, or any other claim arising from AI-generated content you created using characters you built on our platform. Alter AI Studios reserves the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense.
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at support@faceflux.ai so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English, in Los Angeles County, California. You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action lawsuit against us.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the service at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Faceflux after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
