Token Purchases Are Non-Refundable
Faceflux tokens are prepaid digital credits. Once purchased and credited to your account, token transactions are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are buying a digital product and that the tokens are immediately available for use in your account.
We encourage you to use the free trial tokens provided at signup (~3 generations) before purchasing to ensure Faceflux meets your expectations.
When We Do Issue Refunds
We will issue a refund or token credit in the following situations:
- Technical failure during generation: If tokens were deducted from your account but the generation failed due to a verified error on our end, we will credit those tokens back. You don’t need to contact us — our system detects most failures automatically.
- Billing errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount, charged twice for the same purchase, or charged an amount different from the listed price, we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
- Unauthorized charges: If you believe a purchase was made on your account without your authorization, contact us immediately. We will investigate and work with Stripe to resolve it.
- Extended service outage: If Faceflux is unavailable due to a system outage for more than 24 continuous hours and you have unused tokens, we may at our discretion issue a proportional credit.
What We Do Not Refund
- Tokens consumed for generations you are dissatisfied with (AI outputs vary by nature)
- Tokens remaining in an account that has been terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Purchases made by other people who had access to your account credentials
- Tokens that expired (if applicable)
- Dissatisfaction with generation quality due to low-quality or unsuitable input photos
Improving Your Results
If you’re getting poor-quality generations, the most common cause is photo quality. Here’s how to get the best results:
- Use high-resolution, well-lit face photos (avoid blurry or dark selfies)
- Use close-up face photos where your face fills most of the frame
- Avoid wearing hats, sunglasses, or heavy obstructions in your reference photos
- Upload 3–4 reference photos for best identity consistency
How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@faceflux.ai with the following information:
- Your account email address
- Date and amount of the charge
- Reason for your refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or transaction details
We aim to respond within 48 business hours. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are costly and time-consuming for both parties. If we receive a chargeback for a purchase we believe was valid, we may suspend your account and contest the chargeback with documented evidence of service delivery.
